Editorial and review process
All authors who wish to publish in the Bollettino SIFET can send their contributions for peer review after registration to the website.
Each article must have an English title, key words and abstract. The official language of the journal and of the main text is Italian, but articles written in English will be accepted.
The editorial board operates a rigorous and transparent editorial process that aims to verify quality of the contents.
The articles follow a single-blind* peer review process *[from 2022 it will be double-blind], handled by the academic community. The review process will consider content, formatting, correct technical terminology and appropriate language, as well as innovation and originality of the article.
After a successful review process, the manuscript is published in one of the four sections, whichever is more representative, by decision of the editorial board.
Contents are then published as soon as accepted and are immediatly openly available to everyone from the website. At the end of each year, a printed copy of the Bollettino SIFET is distributed to all SIFET members via regular mail.
